Front Projection Structure

This visual field analyzer has adopted the advanced front projection structure: one independent light source, incorporated with rotating optical system, projects uniform light spot on any position of the carefully prepared aspheric diffuse surface. Each light spot has uniform intensity, despite of your observation angle.

Quick Perimetry – HISA (Heuristic Interactive Threshold Searching Algorithm)

HISA forecasts initial threshold of a new point through complex mathematical model, which takes neighbouring tested results and age-related normal values into consideration. HISA will intelligently skip “undoubted” points, and retest suspected points. HISA also adaptively adjusts stimuli speed according to patient response speed. Thus, HISA makes whole test process fast, and saves a lot of time.

Various Preset Perimetry Strategies

This visual field analyzer has a wide range of test patterns and strategies, including T30-2, T24-2, T10-2 for glaucoma diagnosis and T-Macula for macula function assessment. In addition, special test patterns like
driver feasibility, monocular/binocular social security disability are also included.

Kinetic Perimetry

During kinetic test, light spot with different intensity slowly moves from periphery to the center. Patient makes response after seeing the light spot. By connecting all response points, the range of patient’s visual field is depicted. The range of visual field varies by the intensity and size of light spot. The kinetic perimetry can be applied to assessing the change of visual field and the field difference between eyes.

SWAP (Short Wavelength Automated Perimetry) for Earlier Glaucoma Detection

Short-Wavelength Automated Perimetry, or SWAP, is also known as Blue-Yellow perimetry. Researches show that SWAP identified early glaucomatous visual field defects and progression in glaucomatous field loss much earlier than they could be detected by using standard white-on-white perimetry.

The SWAP report reveals deeper field damage than traditional white on white perimetry, as well as the unrecognized GHT abnormality.

Accurate Perimetry

“Gaze Tracking” system constantly monitors pupil position and patient’s pupil fixation, it beeps when a fixation shift is detected. If fixation shift lasts for a while, system will stop test. It automatically ignores the test results during occasional pupil shift.

“Blink Control” system will repeat the test that is interrupted by blinking.

Blind Spot Monitoring system will automatically detect unreasonable and incredibly fast response, and record it as “FALSE POSITIVE”.

“Gaze Tracking”, “Blink Control”, and Blind Spot Monitoring system will work together to improve test accuracy and reliability.
